Amplifying Environmental Diversity
JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
It's time to amplify underrepresented voices in The Green Movement.
We are on a mission to transform the narrative for underrepresented environmental leaders and produce content focusing on the stories of communities of color and other marginalized voices worldwide.
We are proud to be a women and BIPOC-founded purpose driven media company.
“The traditional environmental movement has a diversity problem.”
Van Jones, CNN
Problem
AS YOU READ THIS, GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS IS DOMINATED BY THE CLIMATE CRISIS.
Yet, the media has failed to amplify the voices of those from communities most impacted worldwide and distribute this critical information to a mass audience in a simple, authentic, optimistic & entertaining way.
Historic injustices have left Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities most vulnerable to heatwaves, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation.
Solution
Forget climate doom, we want people to fall in love with the planet.
Earth Tones is the only environmental publication platform that is focused on the lived experience of people of the global majority worldwide.
The climate crisis has no borders so neither do we. Our diverse pool of Earth Tones creative and specialist talent spans all 10 ecological biomes.
We tackle important environmental issues through optimistic storytelling about Travel, Fashion, Music, Architecture, Wildlife, and Gastronomy.
