In Los Angeles, the world’s largest wildlife crossing is being built to save local mountain lions from extinction. Lion Bridgefollows the scientists, designers and advocates risking everything to make it possible, revealing the personal cost of bringing it to life. A love letter to the wild heart still pulsing beneath Los Angeles, it asks whether a city fractured by its freeways can learn to reconnect.
We respectfully acknowledge that the Annenberg Wildlife Crossing featured in Lion Bridge is located on the ancestral lands of the Chumash, Tongva, and Fernandeño Tataviam peoples. We honor their stewardship of this land and their invaluable role in protecting these vital ecosystems.
Special Thanks to The National Wildlife Federation, The Wildlife Crossing Fund, and #SaveLACougars
A sincere thank you to everyone who has contributed to make this project possible.
